Welcome    The Vestry of St. Stephen's is currently working with the Diocese in our search for a new rector. Our previous rector, the Rev. Eric L. Miller, moved to Ohio. St. Stephen's is currently being served by a transitional priest, the Rev. Chris Thompson.  Originally from Portsmouth, Ohio, Father Chris was ordained to the priesthood in 1980 in the Diocese of West Virginia and began his ministry in Huntington.  Father Chris has served churches in Ripley and St. Petersburg, Fla. He most recently was rector of Eastern Shore Chapel in Virginia Beach.  Father Chris has also served as a chaplin in the military. Father Chris's wife, Mary Jo Brown Thompson, is from Summersville.  They have three children and several grandchildren.
